Melissa Hagin, LMT

Melissa has been a licensed massage therapist for more than 20 years. Drawn to bodywork early in life, she found the intersection of her passion and her talents in massage therapy. Since moving to Metro Atlanta from the Chicago area, she has worked in a variety of settings — from spas to a decade spent building a thriving corporate massage practice at Home Depot’s corporate headquarters.

   As the daughter of a nurse, she developed a deep love of anatomy and physiology, which led her toward more therapeutic work. Blending the art and science of massage, she draws on a range of modalities with an intuitive touch to customize each session around what her client’s body needs in that moment. She loves helping each body find balance and healing, and her own lifelong experience with chronic pain gives her a special understanding of clients living with pain and physical limitations.

   Melissa stays busy raising three daughters with her husband. When she’s not with her human family, volunteering, or singing at church, she’s spending time with her two dogs, cat, and eight hens — or covered in dirt, paint, or sawdust while gardening, oil painting, renovating her home, or riding and helping out at the barn with her girls.
